What is Jonot?

Jonot is a virtual queue for busy service locations. Customers join by QR code, kiosk, or staff entry, then follow live wait updates from their phone instead of standing in line.

Do customers need an app or account?

No. Customers open a link, take a ticket, and keep it on their phone. No install, account, or login is required.

What devices do we need?

Use the screens you already have: a tablet for self-check-in, a TV or display for the lobby, and any browser at the staff desk. Android tablets can use the kiosk app; iPad works in the browser too.

What happens if the internet is unstable?

With the local host option, staff can keep calling tickets during upstream internet problems as long as the local network stays available. Jonot syncs the queue when the connection steadies.

Can we show our own messages while people wait?

Yes. Pro teams can show text messages or image banners on customer ticket pages and idle lobby displays, with organization-wide defaults and location-specific overrides.
